In an interview for MySpace’s Moving the Needle, Goapele reveals her influences, shares words of wisdom from Raphael Saadiq, talks about the SF music scene and projects underway including her feature performance in “Sparkle” starring Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks due in theaters August 17th. Her new song “Running”, featured in the film, is part of the soundtrack released today.
